METRO has increased parking rates to $4.75 Monday-Friday at the Grosvenor Metro Garage. SmarTrip cards are required by METRO to exit the garage; please visit the parking page for info on purchasing a SmarTrip card. Please do not park in the surrounding residential neighborhoods!

The Comcast Outdoor Film Festival August 14-21, 2009, with eight nights of hit movies that include a mix of box office hits, classics, family favorites. Held on the grounds of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and Strathmore and presented by 97.1 WASH-FM, this summertime favorite benefits National Institutes of Health (NIH) Children’s Charities. The festival features an inflatable 65’ wide, four-story outdoor movie screen, one of the two largest in the United States, and state of the art projection with Dolby Digital Surround Sound. The films begin each night at dusk, grounds open at 6:30 p.m. Festival patrons are encouraged to come early to enjoy a variety of foods from local restaurants and family activities provided by the festival sponsors.
