As with all events, there have to be some rules. We don't like making them but we have to. We also don't like enforcing them, so please help us by abiding by the below policies. The Film Festival has become a great event because of great moviegoers like yourselves. We thank you for your cooperation:
- As a pedestrian, obey traffic signals, crossing guards and police when arriving and leaving the Film Festival.
- Alcohol consumption is prohibited. Please do not bring alcohol to the Film Festival.
- Do not sit in Safety Lanes. Safety lane are clearly marked on the site. These lanes exist so that in case of emergency appropriate personnel can get to a patron in need of assistance. Also people use the walkways to get to the bathrooms and other areas. Do not sit in safety lanes!!
- The Film Festival is a non-smoking event. We ask for your understanding as our charities benefit patients with cancer. Although for the past five years this has been a non-smoking event, someone always lights up and invariably, we get numerous complaints. Please accommodate the great majority of our moviegoers and do not smoke in their vicinity.
- Do not bring dogs to the Film Festival. Many movies are loud, have gunfire and many other sounds that pets do not enjoy. Additionally your pet may be stepped on and hurt.
- Place your trash in the provided containers. All trash is picked up by volunteers. Your help means the volunteers get to go home soon after the movie!
- We discourage bringing your own food and drink because the majority of the funds raised for the charities come from popcorn, food and beverage sales, plus the movie is free!
THANKS!
